About the NJAR
Who are we and what do
we do?
New Jersey Amateur Racquetball
(NJAR) is the official state
organization for racquetball in the
state of New Jersey. We are
governed by United States Amateur
Racquetball (USAR), and are
incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit
organization.
It is our job to
promote and
manage all
racquetball
programming,
both indoor
and outdoor,
that occurs
within the
state of New
Jersey, with
the ultimate
goal of growing the game of
racquetball within our state
boundaries. As an organization, our
involvement in racquetball spans
different types of racquetball events,
from junior programming to state
championship tournaments, and
various charity fundraisers.

Statement
New Jersey Amateur Racquetball
is a non-profit organization for
educational purposes designed to
foster the development of the sport
of racquetball in New Jersey. We
provide opportunities for members
and racquetball enthusiasts to
actively participate in the sport,
through sanctioning of events,
administration of programs, and the
development of competitive events.
Vision
Statement
Rejuvenate racquetball in the state
of NJ through sanctioned racquetball
tournaments for competitive players.
Sustain a strong player base by
organized shootouts and play days
for recreational participants, juniors
and women.
Objectives
•
Run three sanctioned indoor
tournaments, including State
Singles and State Doubles
•
Run two sanctioned outdoor
tournaments.
•
Run one sanctioned Junior
event.
•
Run various promotional events
to include Ladies Day, Junior
Clinics & Racquetball Camps.
•
Make charitable donations to
organizations to promote
racquetball involvement at
various levels.
•
Make continual efforts to raise
funds to assist in carrying out
our mission statement.
